Everything seems to be getting faster, smaller and less tangible.
So we decided to buy stamps.
We’re starting POSTCARDS: real things, sent through the actual post to people who listen to our music.
The first edition is 500 Fans. There are 500 of them.
We’re printing them on recycled card. Each one will be numbered by hand from 001–500, written by us and sent from the Gold Coast to wherever you happen to be in the world.
This also has the unexpected benefit of forcing Esther to do something slowly. She’s been attempting this for years, with limited success.
No postage. No purchase. We just want the first people who find POST to have something from the beginning that exists somewhere other than a screen.
There’ll be a little message from us on the back, too.
When the 500 are gone, that edition is gone. And if everything goes spectacularly well, perhaps you can sell it on eBay for a lot of coin one day.
You’re here early. We’re glad you found us.
