We like keeping things simple. That includes what we do with your information.

What we collect

If you sign up to GET POST, contact us through the website, buy something from our shop, or otherwise give us your details, we may collect information such as:

• your name
• email address
• postal address, where needed to send you something
• information you include in a message to us
• information connected with an order or purchase

We only collect information we reasonably need to provide what you’ve asked for, communicate with you, send POSTCARDS and occasional emails, operate our website and shop, and manage POST.

GET POST & emails

If you choose to join GET POST, we’ll use your email address to send you occasional news from POST, including music, releases, POSTCARDS, shows and other things we’re making.

We won’t email you constantly.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

POSTCARDS

If you give us your postal address so we can send you a POSTCARD or something else by mail, we’ll use it for that purpose and for administering the POSTCARDS project.

We won’t sell your address or use it to send unexpected junk through your letterbox. That would rather defeat the point.

Contacting us

If you contact us through the website, we’ll use the information you provide to read and respond to your message and keep any records reasonably necessary for our correspondence.

Who handles your information

We use trusted third-party services to help operate POST.

This includes Brevo, which we use to manage our email list and communications. Information submitted through our GET POST form may therefore be processed and stored by Brevo on our behalf.

Our website, online store, payment providers and other service providers may also process information where necessary to provide their services.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and embedded content

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to work, remember preferences, understand how the site is being used, or provide features from third-party services.

Pages may also contain embedded content or links from services such as music, video, social media or other websites. Those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies when you interact with them.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where we need to retain it for legal, accounting or administrative reasons.

If you unsubscribe from our emails, we may retain limited information necessary to record your unsubscribe request and make sure we don’t accidentally add you back.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.

You can also withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time.
