The last time Esther went to Europe to play music, she planned to stay for six months.

She came home 14 years later.

There were a few festivals in Germany with her live electronic band, PiXiEFiSH. Then she joined Dissidenten, and six months somehow became a rather long series of bands, tours, cities and other adventures.

We’re fairly confident that won’t happen this time.

We have a home to come back to.

But we are planning to take POST to Europe in 2027.

The current plan is around six weeks from mid-November, with shows in Spain, Germany and Finland. England may make its way in too, although there’s a reasonable chance we’ll just end up seeing friends and family while we’re there.

Nothing is being announced yet. This is simply what we’re working towards.

Before then, we’ll be playing smaller runs around Australia and using them to build and refine the European set — finding out what works in different rooms, what the songs need live, and what we actually want to carry halfway around the world.

Fortunately, Europe doesn’t feel particularly far from home to either of us.

Esther is half Finnish. Ally is English. We both have people and places there that feel like home.

So taking POST to Europe feels less like going somewhere new and more like bringing it back to another part of home.

There are a lot of details to work out between here and November 2027.

Venues would be useful.

For now, we’re building the set, making the record and getting ourselves ready to play it on as many interesting and varied stages as we can find.

And this time, Esther has a return ticket.
